Bienvenue chez Évelina's.  Évelina's is a truly unique Acadian experience.  We are famous for Évelina's Rappie Pie and Évelina's Fricot, traditional Acadian dishes, along with Acadian hospitality, entertainment and a taste of our culture.  Évelina's is located in Little Brook, Clare, on the French Shore of Nova Scotia. The area is known as the heart of Acadia, and the population consists mainly of French Acadians.  

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to dine at Evelina's, where we serve our famous Évelina's Acadian Rappie Pie, Fricôt and other Acadian cuisine.  Our main dining area offers a view of St. Mary's Bay - Baie Sainte-Marie, and overlooks the Digby Neck Islands.  We also have a licensed lounge for your enjoyment.

Special Events and Entertainment happen throughout the year on a regular basis, from Acadian Kitchen Parties to Dinner Theater and events produced by Moulin Productions.

ÉVELINA'S HISTORY:    

Many people from Clare have fond memories of days gone by when dropping by Évelina's meant enjoying a pleasant refreshment and a serving of her delicious Râpure.  In 1975 Évelina decided to use the secret recipe that had been in her family for generations and started making Évelina's Acadian Rappie Pie.  

The business was originally operated out of her house with a few stores in the area carrying her product.  Over the years business has expanded and you can have Évelina's Acadian Rappie Pie in our restaurant and our product can be found throughout a number of stores in Nova Scotia.  

Today, Évelina's Acadian Rappie Pie remains the name that people look for and recognize when choosing what has become an award-winning Acadian dish, enjoyed by many.

Évelina's is still a family owned and operated business.  Évelina's son, Robert, has joined in helping out at the family operation, ensuring that Évelina's Acadian Rappie Pies and the award winning family recipe will continue to delight patrons.

 


 

During the Festival Acadien de Clare a contest was held to determine who made the best Rappie Pie in Clare.  Seventeen local restaurants participated and.....

Évelina’s Râpure Pie was chosen as the winner!
